Dr. Daniel H. Garza is a specialist in Diagnostic Radiology as well as Vascular and Interventional Radiology.
He completed his undergraduate degree in Molecular Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating with departmental highest honors. While at UCLA, Dr. Garza worked in the Academic Advance Program as a tutor and mentor for under-represented and disadvantaged students in upper- division Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry courses.
Before attending Harvard Medical School, Dr. Garza worked for one year as a Middle School full time, credentialed physical science teacher for eighth grade students in an underserved East Los Angeles public school.
He obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School where he loved the school and city but couldn’t stand the long, cold winters. Dr. Garza returned to sunny Los Angeles to complete his residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Harbor-UCLA where he also served as Chief Resident from June 2007 to June 2008. He then completed a fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at the University of Southern California.
Dr. Garza enjoys traveling, running, reading, art and collecting music of various genres with a special interest in rare and hard to find world music.
