A native of California, Dr. Michael E. Poh’s received the majority of his undergraduate and medical training at Loma Linda University, in Riverside, CA. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Dr. Poh achieved his Doctor of Medicine from Loma Linda University Medical Center. He continued at Loma Linda, completing an internship in Internal Medicine, followed by his residency in diagnostic radiology. Dr. Poh was certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Radiology in 1991. His medical training culminated in 1992, when he completed a one year body imaging fellowship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Subsequent to fellowship training, Dr. Michael E. Poh gained more than 17 years of hospital based experience in private practice diagnostic radiology. Dr. Poh is a Principal Radiologist of Sunset Radiology, Inc. He also currently serves as Director of Radiology for Western Medical Center Anaheim, and is the Medical Director for the diagnostic medical sonography program at Cypress College, in California.
Dr. Poh took up tennis in his early years, becoming a junior champion by the age of 16. An avid LA Dodgers fan, Dr. Poh now coaches his son in both baseball and tennis.
